Nutriendo salvajes
En el área de biología estuvimos hablando sobre la nutrición animal y sus procesos. Luego tuvimos que buscar una imagen con todos por órganos que son parte del sistema de nutrición e intervenirla con la aplicación Thinglink. Acá les dejo nuestra imagen. Lo hice con Valen Muguelar.
Admirador secreto en Flores
En el área de literatura tuvimos que escribir una carta como si fuéramos la sociedad de cartas anónimas. Esto es sobre una historia que leímos y son una sociedad que escribe cartas anónimas de amor a gente que no lo tiene así se ponen feliz. Acá esta nuestra carta:
Querida Carola:
Te escribo esta carta para expresarte lo que siento. Te la he querido escribir hace tiempo pero no tenía el coraje para hacerlo. Decidí escribirla ahora porque no puedo guardar más estos increíbles sentimientos. Te llore como a nadie por no poder decírtelo pero ahora estoy listo.
En estos últimos meses te estuve observando muy detenidamente por las calles de Flores. Desde el primer momento en que te vi no pude parar de pensar en vos ni un segundo. No tengo palabras para explicar lo que causas en mi al mirarte. Cuando te veo mis ojos se iluminan y mi corazón se acelera. Se convirtió en un hobby mirarte y esconderme detrás de los arbustos para deleitarme con tu belleza. Siempre que te vi quise acercarme a vos y hablarte pero nunca tuve el valor de hacerlo por miedo a que me rechaces. No te imaginas lo duro que es sentir esto.
Si me preguntan que me gusta de vos, no sabría cómo empezar. Ah! Ya se. Comenzaría por describir tu mirada que es el faro que ilumina mi camino. Seguiría con tu pelo que lo veo y me vuelve loco. Es tan lacio, largo y brilloso que es la mayor tentación para mi tocarlo, indudablemente el mejor cabello de Flores. Tu cuerpo es la figura más armoniosa que he visto. Mis ojos se pierden en tus curvas al mirarte y luego no se como encontrarme. Al verte me doy cuenta que no te importa nada y te llevas el mundo por delante y eso me encanta. Tenés tanta frescura que da placer al mirarte.
Mi objetivo en esta vida es estar a tu lado. Estoy perdidamente enamorado y pagaría lo que sea por pasar mi vida entera con vos. Me intriga mucho saber como es tu personalidad aunque me imagino que debes de ser una mujer con un corazón enorme. Me gustaría poder tener un encuentro algún día y conocerte mejor y te des cuenta que esto que siento es muy puro.
¿Estarías dispuesta a conocerme y comenzar una aventura conmigo?

Climates
In EM we were studying the different type of climates. Then we had to summarize the information that we found. Here is my summary.
Cold climates
This climate is characteristic for having cold temperatures. Cold climates are located in the high artic. Summer in this climate is from october to february, the temperatures are of -29F. In winter temperatures are of -40F or -50F. Polar bears are well adapted to this climate.

Savanna
Savanna is located on either side of the equator on the edges of tropical rainforests.
Savanna temperature is warm. There are two different seasons, the long dry season (winter), and a very wet season (summer). During dry season, there are no rainfalls (4 inches) and temperatures are of 70F. During summer there is a lot of rain (15 to 25 inches) and temperature rises. savannas are covered with acacia trees. The Serengeti Plains of Tanzania are some of the most well known. Here animals like lions, zebras, elephants, and giraffes and many types of ungulates(animals with hooves) graze and hunt. Many herbivores and meat eaters.Plants of the savannas are highly specialized to grow in this environment of long periods of drought. More information
Tundra
This climate is very cold. It is a treeless climate. Summer just lasts from 6 to 10 weeks and the highest temperatures are of 45F to 50F. Although it is not enough to get tundra warmer. As it is so cold, there is a permanent layer of permafrost. During winter, days are all dark and temperatures don't reach above 20° F and average -20° to -30°F. Precipitation totals 6-10 inches of rain a year, which includes melted snow. This is a dry climate. The most typical plants in tundra are: Arctic Moss, ArcticWillow, Bearberry, Caribou Moss, Diamond-leaf Willow, Labrador, Tea, Pasque Flower and Tufted Saxifrage.

The moonson climate is located beyond the equatorial region between 10◦ and 25 ◦ and North and South of the equator.The countries are along the coastal regions of southwest India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Myanmar, South western Africa, French Guiana, and northeast and southeastern Brazil.The monsoon climate has a high mean annual temperature and a small annual temperature range. The average annual temperature is 80F but only has an annual temperature range of 3F. Though the annual amount of precipitation is quite similar to that of the rain forest, monsoon precipitation is concentrated into the high-sun season.More information

Most trees are hardwood. They are very durable and heavy.Some examples are the Seraya, Meranti, Mahogany, Ironwood and Ebony.

The dominant animals are burrowers and kangaroo rats. There are also insects, arachnids, reptiles and birds.

The Clod and the Pebble
In Literature we read the poem 'The Clod and the Pebble' by William Blake. After doing an analysis of it, we had to write a Literary essay based on this poem. This is my essay.
The poem that I will develop is called ¨The Clod and the Pebble¨ by William Blake, an english poet unrecognized during his life time. Although now he is considered a seminal figure in the history of the poetry. This poem presents two opposite ideas of love, love is selfish and love is selfless.

The poem that I will develop is called ¨The Clod and the Pebble¨ by William Blake, an english poet unrecognized during his life time. Although now he is considered a seminal figure in the history of the poetry. This poem presents two opposite ideas of love, love is selfish and love is selfless.
At the beginning of this poetry, love is presented as a positive thing, as something that we all need in our lives and it is described selfless. ‘Love seeketh not itself to please’ In this phrase we are able to see that love is described selfless and really honorable. There is an expression in the poem that shows the goodness of love. This is ‘And builds a Heaven in Hell’s despair’. What this metaphor samples us is that even though you are in a bad moment, love is capable of making you feel better. Additionally, it shows us that it is always there when you need it. The Clod is the one that is in favor of love. Ironically the clod is a really soft rock representing the sensitive of people that agree in love.
On the other hand, in the last stanza of the poem. Love is presented in a really negative was, as something immoral in life that takes your time away, makes you suffer as well as it is selfish. ‘Joys in another’s loss of ease’. Here we may see how love is described as a wrong thing. What this communicates is that love enjoys seeing how the other suffers for him. ‘Love seeketh only self to please’. In this methapor, we can see the selfish way in which the author describes love. What this is trying to tell us is that love just looks to please it own self and that it searches for it self confort. The Pebble is the one who says this negative points about love. This is a really strong rock and it is not a coincidence that the Pebble is the one that says the negative things about love and not the Clod, as usually people that have strong feelings are not so open to love.
As a conclusion I would say that I’m a Clod as I really believe that love is something necessary in our lives, any type of love. The love of someone of your family, a friend or the one of your boyfriend or girlfriend. This poems makes me think about how people have huge opposite ideas about a same topic. More than that it makes me consider that we have to respect the different views that we all have about a same thing and respect it as well as the others should regard ours.

El recuerdo y el olvido
En el area de Literatura leímos un texto sobre el recuerdo y el olvido. Luego tuvimos que escribir un texto sobre lo que nosotros opinábamos del recuerdo y el olvido en general.
El recuerdo y el olvido
En este texto voy a hablar sobre lo que pienso del recuerdo y el olvido, basado en un capitulo que leí llamado ‘El recuerdo y el olvido en el barrio de flores’.
En mi opinión, es bueno recordar ya que uno vive de los recuerdos y necesita de ellos para saber quienes somos en la actualidad. Además es bueno tener recuerdos sobre acontecimientos o personas, por ejemplo cuando alguien querido muere, es muy lindo recordarlo con anécdotas o características de su personalidad. También hay que tener en cuenta que a lo largo de la vida hay buenos y malos recuerdos. Los buenos son aquellos que hacen que se te dibuje una sonrisa día a día y los malos son de los que uno intenta aprender para no repetirlos. Estos pueden ser referentes a momentos vividos con otras personas o con uno mismo.
El recuerdo también nos sirve para tener memoria en contenido. Sin la memoria no podríamos estudiar ya que no recordaríamos lo que leímos o aprendimos en clase. Seria imposible para uno reconocer al otro si no tendríamos recuerdo de su cara o aspecto físico. Por estas razones es necesario el recuerdo, y por ello sin el no podríamos vivir.
Desde mi punto de vista el olvido es lo peor que le puede ocurrir a una persona, ya que si uno olvida a otro, esto significa que no ha dejado ninguna huella en tu vida. Con respecto al olvido de las malas experiencias con otra persona, creo que a veces es necesario olvidar para poder perdonar aunque esto sea muy difícil en algunas situaciones. El olvido borra los recuerdos y no creo que esto sea algo positivo ya que uno vive de ellos. No es bueno olvidar porque sino uno cometería siempre los mismos errores.
En conclusión, es bueno recordar ya que nos forma como personas y nos permite vivir. Al tener memoria uno puede formarse profesionalmente y tener estudios universitarios. Sobre el olvido, nos queda decir que es malo olvidar pero a veces es necesario dado que al olvidar a veces uno se ve beneficiado.

Una experiencia saludable
En el área de construcción de la ciudadanía este año armamos un proyecto que involucro al tema salud. Luego de leer un libro que nos trajo la profesora de un médico que escribió sobre la importancia de la actividad física. Hicimos un proyecto haciendo clases de actividad física para niños de la guardería Betharram que no tienen allí con el fin de inculcar el concepto de la importancia de la gimnasia desde chicos. Acá les dejo nuestro proyecto.
