Relationships and social media

Nowadays we live surrounded of social media. We often hear that technology and media are the future. However, we do not really know the consequences that these will bring us in the future. Otherwise, many people contend that social media have a negative impact on people relationships.

As we all can see, it is a fact that people’s relationships have been affected positively or negatively by social media. While it is true that social networks are a great source to socialise with different people, it is also true that personal communication has been almost forgotten. In the present we all manage ourselves through whatsapp, facebook or even twitter. Physical contact is much less common than before. Not only do people lose physical contact but they also miss the habit of talking face to face. That is one of the problems that we have nowadays led to social media.

At the rate that we are going and all the new apps it is a point of fact that relationships in the future will be badly affected. As I see it, we would not be able to have a physical relationship as it would not be common. In addition, jobs that need to have contact with people will be much complicated to endure. Furthermore, having a couple will be almost impossible.

Taking everything into consideration, there are many good arguments for saying that relationships in the future will be affected if we continue using the social media in the same way that we are using them.
