Health and exercise

In writing we had to write an essay on the importance of health and exercise.

Nowadays, children tend to be their whole free time laying in their beds or on the sofa watching tv. Nevertheless, it is very important for people in general, not just children, to exercise and eat healthy as in this way, they will have a good lifestyle. On the other hand, one of the problems of not doing this, is obesity. This is a world problem that is getting worst everyday as people eat fast food. Two was in which this could be solve are through advertising and education.

In connection to the advertising, it could be through media, promoting sports and a healthy lifestyle. This would clearly be successful as the ideas will widespread throughout society. It is an expensive way of making people aware of the problem. Nevertheless it is worthy as everybody will be conscious of the situation.

As regards education, I can honestly say that it is important to educate children on the importance of a healthy lifestyle creating a sport routine for them. In this way, they will implement it all their lives as they will be used to this way of living. In the same way that being healthy will provide them better life quality.

On balance, both solutions are necessary as advertising is essential because of the fact that people get to know the problem through this. As regards education, it is important as in this way they get aware and do something for their health. In my view, educating children will be more effective in the long term. 

Using public transport is more convenient

In the class of writing we were working on the writing of essays and we had to write one on the convenience of using public transport instead of cars.

It is often claimed that now a days people tend to use their cars more than public transport, causing traffic as well as environmental problems. The government could discourage the use of cars through investment and education.

To begin with the planning of investment, governments should spend money on public transport. In order to make them nicer and more practical. It is true that they should invest lot of money, nevertheless it is worthy. In fact, education is one of the main points in this situation as it is necessary to educate people to drive properly. Furthermore investing in security is vital as people should be safe in order to use public transport, if not, they would not take advantage of it.

Many people contend that education is one of the main factors as regards the use of public transport. I can honestly say that teaching people how to drive is vital so there are less traffic problems. Moreover, providing awareness of environmental problems is very important, as people will be conscious of this. In this way, they will use their cars less. One more aspect in which education matters is taking care of others, so going on public transport would be more enjoyable.

On balance, there are many arguments for the success of these methods. As regards investment, it will never be a failure as providing improvements to public transport will oblige people to try something new. On the other hand, talking about education, it is necessary for the society. In addition, people will take this into consideration.
